Slitterhead’s story keeps gunning forward, bringing us hot on the heels of a potentially crooked Doctor who’s treating Slitterhead patients, having Alex look further into the situation. This mission may not be the most convoluted of the bunch, but it will likely take an emotional toll on you.

Silent Hill 2: Where To Find Every Glimpse Of The Past
The Glimpses of the Past are a new collectible in Silent Hill 2 Remake. Here’s where to find them all.
Even if it’s not the most challenging to complete, there will be many twists and turns that can trip you up, leading to many fascinating encounters throughout the course of the mission. Ghost Family is one of our favorites in the game, and it deserves to be experienced if you’re playing through it!
Starting Ghost Family In Slitterhead
Ghost Family is one of the best spooky missions in Slitterhead, giving you lots to chew on while building up anticipation and despair. While Alex is the permanent Primary Rarity, you can select his Companion, which we strongly recommend making Edo, as his Burning Edge Skill is extraordinarily strong.
Gather Information
From the start of the mission, head straight ahead with Alex and follow the pathway outside, where there will be many residents in the courtyard. Some will be dancing, while others will be standing around talking amongst each other. To the right will be a woman in a yellow shirt; speak with her to gather information on the family.
Head To The Clinic
Behind the lady in the yellow shirt will be a staircase that leads to the upper portion of the slums. Head up these stairs and take a sharp left to see the Clinic straight in front of you. Make your way into the Clinic to find the Doctor examining something just inside, and speak with him, having him more or less shoo you away.
Gather Information On The Doctor
Here, head back down the stairs and return to the courtyard. You will see an entryway that has stairs leading down underneath the slums. Make your way down the steps to find two guys talking to each other, allowing you to eavesdrop on their conversation.
Listen in on their conversation to gather more information on the Doctor, having Alex ask them more about the subject, where they will eventually point Alex even further underneath the slums.
Find Witness
Move even further down the stairs to find a shirtless man leaning against the wall and speak with him, having him tell you about a patient of the Doctor’s who’s been out of it for a while. Directly behind this man and to the right will be a pathway that leads to a drop-off. Take this route and drop down deeper into the depths of the slums.
Next, take a right and head into the building to find a Tattooed Man standing inside. Speak with him to learn more about the Doctor’s former patient. Exit through the door behind the Tattooed Man and take another right to find a shirtless man sitting in the dirt. Speak with him to learn about the Doctor.
Head Back To The Doctor
After speaking with the Street Man, use Blood Jump to reach the elevated clothesline, eventually leading you to the top of a roof. From here, drop back down into the slums and make your way back to the Clinic where the Doctor is. Once you arrive, you will notice the Doctor is no longer there.
Head toward the back of the Clinic and look to the right to find a locker. Examine the locker to discover it opens to a secret pathway that leads into the basement. Follow this pathway deeper into the cellar until you encounter the Doctor, triggering a brief cutscene.
Defeat The Doctor
When the cutscene ends, you will have to defeat the Doctor as they’ve transformed into a Slitterhead. This encounter can be challenging, but there’s a trick to it that makes it much more manageable. First, use Blood Well and Blood Blast to deal massive damage to him off the rip, then proceed to spam Alex’s heavy attack.
For whatever reason, Alex’s heavy attack will continuously stagger the Doctor, allowing Alex to essentially pummel him to death in seconds. The Doctor will eventually fall over, allowing you to keep swinging away at him, ultimately killing him in the blink of an eye.
If this doesn’t work for some reason, don’t forget to heal by holding R1/RB to absorb the blood from the ground, and constantly use his Blood Well to pull the Doctor away from him, allowing you to line up a perfect Blood Blast shot to chunk off large portions of his health. Rinse and repeat until he is defeated.
With the Doctor defeated, examine his body and the map on the board in the basement, then continue following the questline!
Head To Apartment
Now that the Doctor is taken care of, exit the Clinic and make your way to the apartment complex, which is directly across from the Clinic entrance. Once inside the apartment, navigate through the halls and to the elevator. Interact with the elevator to trigger a cutscene.
Chase The Slitterhead Daughter
The daughter will turn into a Slitterhead and will flee from the apartment, forcing Alex to chase after her. Use his Blood Well to pull the fleeing Slitterhead in, allowing Alex to use Blood Blast to deal substantial damage. Repeat this several times throughout the chase to force her to run into an abandoned lot, triggering a brief cutscene.
Aim the Blood Well slightly in front of the Slitterhead, as you want it to be able to grab her, allowing it to pull them in toward its center. If you place it behind them, it will whiff, allowing them to avoid it altogether!
Defeat The Weedy Scorpionfish Slitterhead
Remember when we said to bring Edo along for the ride for this mission? Well, this boss encounter is the reason why. Not only can Alex use his Burning Edge Skill to increase his damage, but Edo’s Angel Step is a perfect move for this fight, allowing him to evade attacks and deliver devastating blows.
Use Alex’s Blood Well and Blood Blast combo the moment the encounter begins, depleting a large chunk of the Slitterhead’s health. From here, activate Burning Edge and start hacking away at it, waiting for Edo to spawn into the arena.
Once Edo arrives, activate Burning Edge again and start spamming Angel Step, allowing you to weave through its attacks and deliver brutal strikes, eliminating its health in seconds. Keep on the offensive with Edo, and the encounter will be over before you even know it!
Ghost Family Rewards
Defeating the Weedy Scorpionfish Slitterhead and completing Ghost Family for the first time grants you a staggering 22 Skill Tokens, allowing you to level up your Rarities. Please remember that they are shared, so if you spend them on one character, the others will be left with nothing.
And, of course, do not forget about the ‘Talk’ menu. Make sure to listen to all dialogues after completing the mission to unlock more missions and Rarities. This is very crucial!
