Grand Theft Auto 6 will be one of the biggest video game launches that the industry has ever seen, and will likely be a highlight for many when it launches at some point in the Fall next year. We’ve seen very little of the game since it’s first trailer almost a year ago though, and concerns surrounding a potential delay are very real, even though developer Rockstar and publisher Take-Two Interactive have been quick to stress it’s still on time.
That’s why regular updates on the game’s release date are necessary to curb any misinformation out there at the moment, and Take-Two has given us yet another during its most recent earnings report. It’s not huge, breaing news in the slightest, but fans will likely be happy to hear that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on course to launch in Fall 2025, despite the silence we’ve had to endure since its first trailer.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have a proper release date for the game, and this statement doesn’t rule out potential delays in the future. It’s heartening that the game is still on course almost a year out from release though, and you’d assume that we’ll hear something soon if Rockstar believes it can still hit that release window.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is an upcoming title in the long-running series from Rockstar Games. Currently scheduled for a 2025 launch, details are few, although it appears to focus on a Bonnie-and-Clyde-like pair of characters.
