To his credit, Musk is actually in the top 20 players on a leaderboard on a website called Helltides.com, which can be used to log completion times for a dungeon called The Pit. This is a special endgame dungeon that challenges players to beat it in 15 minutes, with shorter times resulting in better rewards.

That’s pretty impressive, and proof that Musk isn’t simply mashing buttons and sprinting to the final boss and finish line, but the narrative comes into question when you realize that there’s less than a thousand people on that list, which is less than 6 percent of the game’s most recent 24 hour peak player count on Steam alone.
To make matters worse, these leaderboards aren’t even official and require users to submit their own recorded runs. So, while it’s true that Musk is in the top 20 players on a leaderboard, there’s absolutely no evidence that Musk is one of the top 20 Diablo 4 players in the entire world, and he’d never be able to claim so until an official leaderboard with every player on it were made.
