Destiny is Giving Every Player These Incredible God Roll Weapons

Destiny is Giving Every Player These Incredible God Roll Weapons

There was a brief period of paranoia within the Destiny 2 community about the odds of weapons dropping with desired perks, and after a short investigation, Bungie confirmed that ther was indeed a problem that made it harder to get certain rolls. To compensate, Banshee will be selling a number of weapons with excellent perk combos, and everyone will be able to buy them.

Most of these weapons are fairly old, but they’re all still quite strong even when compared to all the new weapons in Destiny 2’s Episode: Revenant. Players will be able to get these guns on Nov. 19, and while there’s a planned deadline for these weapons, Bungie doesn’t have a concrete date set yet. Here are all the weapons you can expect to find at Gunsmith by that time.

Destiny 2: Best Weapon Rolls To Grind For During Festival Of The Lost

The Festival of the Lost event in Destiny 2 lets players grind a few good weapon rolls. Here’s what to look out for when slaying Headless Ones.

Multimach CCX

  • Polygonal Rifling + Tactical Mag + Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors + Reload Masterwork

The Multimach isn’t exactly known for being a PvE weapon, but an Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors roll is actually pretty good against AI combatants. Imagine having a 900 RPM SMG that can fuel abilities, trigger Orb of Power effects, and deal AoE damage. Sure, guns like the Immortal and the Ikelos SMG have better class synergies, but a Multimach with this perk combo is great for a lot of builds too.

Attrition Orbs can help restore ability energy and trigger effects that require Orbs of Power. Meanwhile, Kinetic Tremors can deal extra damage to targets, and it can trigger Attrition Orbs as well. Just bear in mind that Attrition Orbs has an internal cooldown, so don’t expect to swim in Orbs just because Kinetic Tremors is going off.

Rose

  • Fluted Barrel + Accurized Rounds + Slideshot + Explosive Payload + Smooth Grip + Handling Masterwork

Players who have been struggling to get a Rose in Destiny 2 will want to grab this one. Slideshot and Explosive Payload are top-tier PvP perks, and they aren’t bad in PvE either. This is an incredibly well-rounded roll, and while it could use a different Barrel and Masterwork, it’s a very good gun for Handcannon fans.

Slideshot partially refills a weapon’s magazine and grants its next shot bonus Range and Stability after sliding. The latter two bonuses are especially useful in the Crucible, where the winner of a duel is often determined by whoever hits the first shot. Meanwhile, Explosive Payload negates damage fall-off for a part of a weapon’s per-shot damage, and it makes enemy Guardians flinch harder than usual. It also makes weapons deal bonus damage versus combatants in PvE.

Stasis weapons are surprisingly powerful and versatile in Destiny 2. Here’s which Stasis weapons players should add to their collection.

Indebted Kindness

The Indebted Kindness sidearm in Destiny 2

  • Smart Drift Control + Tactical Mag + Loose Change + Voltshot + Velocity Masterwork

Voltshot alone is enough to make turn any Indebted Kindness drop into a god roll, but when paired with Loose Change, this weapon reaches a whole different level. Jolt counts as an elemental debuff, and since players will be applying it to every enemy they hit with Voltshot, Loose Change will be giving Indebted Kindness massively improved Reload Speed, Aim Assist, and movement speed while aiming almost all the time.

Voltshot is an on-kill perk like Kill Clip. After defeating a target with a Voltshot weapon, the next shot will apply Jolt to targets. Meanwhile, Loose Change grants all the stats mentioned above to the weapon after players defeat enemies affected by elemental debuffs.

Compass Rose

The 2023 version of the Compass Rose in Destiny 2

  • Corkscrew Rifling + Light Mag + Snapshot Sights + Slideshot + Handling Masterwork

The Compass Rose is one of the best shotguns in Destiny 2 thanks to its high base Range and Aim Assist stats. It’s normally bogged down by its below-average Handling, but with the perks listed above, it should become a non-issue. The Snapshot + Slideshot combo in particular will make this weapon an absolute menace in PvP.

Snapshot Sights greatly improves the ADS speed of weapons, and while aiming down sights doesn’t tighten pellet spread by much, it can still help Shotguns feel more consistent, especially when paired with Slideshot and its Range boost.

From VS Chill Inhibitor to Edge Transit, there are myriad top-notch damage weapon choices to utilize.

Hothead (Adept)

adept hothead farm

  • Hard Launch + Impact Casing + Tracking Module + Clown Cartridge + Reload Masterwork

The Hothead is popular for its high DPS potential, and while this roll won’t result in big damage numbers, players can expect it to be very easy to use, especially against bosses that refuse to stand still. Tracking Module is an amazing perk for Rocket Launchers, and while Clown Cartridge won’t boost damage numbers, it’ll greatly improve DPS by letting players fire more rockets before reloading.

The sugar on top of this god roll is that it’s an Adept Hothead, which means players can stick an Adept Reload mod here to crank the weapon’s DPS up even further. Make sure to bring some Reserve mods to get more ammo.

VS Chill Inhibitor

Destiny 2 VS Chill Inhibitor Grenade Launcher From Vesper's Host

The VS Chill Inhibitor is one of the new weapons from Destiny 2’s Vesper’s Host dungeon, and it’s also one of the best guns to farm for there. This is because of the Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch perk combo — both trigger when players hit enemies using their other weapons, turning this Heavy Grenade Launcher into an absolute beast when it comes to dealing sustained damage.

Envious Arsenal completely refills the weapon’s magazine, while Bait and Switch increases the gun’s damage. Unload an entire Chill Inhibitor mag onto an enemy before tagging them with other weapons. Swap back to it, and it’ll be freshly loaded with a damage buff to boot. Repeat the process untill all ammo is spent, or the target is defeated.
