While Astarion’s charming demeanor has left fans with memorable quotes to pull from, it has also made him a popular cosplay subject for Baldur’s Gate 3 players. On the r/BaldursGate3 subreddit, a Reddit user named NargaLifestream posted pictures of their husband, Aoki_Lifestream, cosplaying as Astarion. NargaLifestream stated that each of the five pictures was taken within a new studio interior backdrop, which helped to set the tone. NargaLifestream said that the wig for Astarion’s white hair was tied by hand to fit their husband’s forehead, and they used a 3D-printed mannequin to make sure everything was correct during the time-consuming process. In the first shot, the Astarion cosplayer is seen with a goblet filled with fake blood to fit in line with the character’s vampiric tendencies. Along with the goblet, the costumes used by Aoki_Lifestream included white and black tunics, brown trousers, and a dark blue coat with purple trim.
