Agatha All Along almost had an exciting She-Hulk character. However, showrunner Jac Schaeffer had to give up on that idea for creative reasons.
Agatha All Along‘s cast list included several characters from WandaVision, including Evan Peters’ Ralph Bohner and Debra Jo Rupp as Mrs. Hart. Aside from WandaVision and Doctor Strange 2, the series is largely removed from other MCU projects. However, Schaeffer tried to have a She-Hulk character appear in Agatha All Along. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out, despite She-Hulk offering the perfect setup for this would-be cameo.

During an interview with The Ringer-Verse, Schaeffer revealed that she tried to include the She-Hulk character Madisynn. The party girl made her first (and so far only) MCU appearance in She-Hulk as a character who was transported to another world by a magician named Donny Blaze during his stage show. Upon her return, Madisynn recounted how she received help from a talking goat–a demon named Jake–but couldn’t discuss the terms of the deal they made to send her home. In Agatha All Along, Patti Lupone’s Lilia mentions that talking to goats is a stereotype applied to witches. Schaeffer tried to use this as a stepping stone to bring Madisynn into the fold and explained why she abandoned this idea:
I really wanted to include the character of Madisynn because I think she’s so deeply funny, and she talked about Jake the goat. […] We were all banging our heads against the wall trying to figure out, ‘How do we make the goat our literal and figurative gateway to getting Madisynn on the road?’ and it just didn’t work. It was shoe-horning. And I had to let that go.
Agatha All Along episode 6 featured Ralph Bohner, the Westview resident whom Agatha Harkness forced to masquerade as Wanda Maximoff’s deceased brother Pietro/Quicksilver in WandaVision. In Agatha All Along, he provides key information about the events of WandaVision to Wanda’s son, Billy Maximoff, who was able to enter the real world after the hex ended by unintentionally taking over the body of the deceased William Kaplan. However, Schaeffer noted that Ralph Bohner would have been cut like Madisynn had she been unable to find a proper way to use him. “It felt ultimately really, really right for the show,” Schaeffer said. “If I had been unable to find the right way, the correct way, to deploy him, I would have cut him.”
Despite her relatively short time in the MCU, Madisynn became a fan-favorite character. She sparked several memes and reactions, perhaps most notably from She-Hulk co-star Jameela Jamil, who said she believed Madisynn could single-handily defeat Thanos with just her cocktail in hand. Of course, few probably expect her to play such a pivotal role against the Multiverse Saga’s villain Doctor Doom, but many are clamoring to see Madisynn return to the MCU sooner rather than later.
