I’d be really happy if they just re-released the original four games for modern consoles and PC. Beyond that, I think there’s a lot of potential to remake some of the less popular titles. Silent Hill: Downpour, for example, has a great foundation, and turning it into a truly good game should be pretty straightforward.
I’m not too sure about new games in the franchise; it really depends on who develops them. Bloober Team did a surprisingly great job with Silent Hill 2, but when it comes to their original games, they haven’t quite proven themselves yet.
