Daimyo System, Explained

Sengoku Dynasty - Daimyo Dynasty

When a person first starts out in the game, they are shown a quick screen that explains the Daimyo System. However, it is one screen among a large sea of them and can easily be skipped over if a player isn’t being careful.

Basically, in order to progress the Daimyo System, a player has to clear out the various regions of the map from enemy influences. There are a total of 11 regions that can be liberated to become a Daimyo, all of which can be seen in the game’s map.

On the map, players will be able to see multiple different kinds of icons that represent different enemies of varying levels. Fighting the lesser enemies will draw out the Faction Leaders, who must be defeated to take their presence in the region out completely.

That’s truly all it takes to become a Daimyo in the game and can help with a person’s Dynasty level as well. This will cause the NPCs they encounter in the game to treat them with more respect.

However, players should be prepared for these encounters with the Faction Leaders. They won’t be able to just go after them right away and will want to make sure they’ve built enough weapons and armor to keep themselves alive through the battle.

It will also open the region up for any workers to access its unique resources. This makes it a business interest as well, giving players the chance to get some resources that they wouldn’t be able to access otherwise. This can help a player upgrade their gear and further build out their character to be more powerful.

Finally, there will be some unique recipes that players will get access to through liberating these regions as well. Food is an important resource for players in Sengoku Dynasty as it allows them to stay away from starving and keep their characters working as they need to.
