The Sims 4: All Tarot Cards (& How to Find Them)
Players can build a magical tarot deck in The Sims 4 Life and Death expansion pack, but they must find all 26 cards – here is how to get them.
This guide shows gamers how they can obtain a Crow in The Sims 4, which variant is right for them, and how to properly take care of their feathery companion.
How to Get a Crow in The Sims 4
There are two ways to get a pet Crow in The Sims 4, players can either buy one from the Mysterious Merchant or in Build Mode. However, these crows aren’t exactly the same, and players might want to choose which one suits them best according to their preferences.
- Players can purchase the Grim Standard Ascendant Crow for 825 Simoleons in the Pet Furniture section of the Pets tab in Build Mode.
- Players can purchase the Grim Deluxe Ascendant Crow for 1,000 Simoleons by speaking to Waylon Warez and selecting the Purchase Warez option. It will be sent to the Sim’s Household Inventory so they must return home to place it.
How to Take Care of a Crow in The Sims 4
Crows have three Needs in The Sims 4: Mood, Hunger, and Perch State. Players must keep all of these Needs in check in order to properly take care of their Crows and keep them happy and satisfied.
To improve a Crow’s Mood, players can use Friendly social options while interacting with him and give it gifts. To keep the Crow satiated, players must refill its feeder whenever it becomes empty. Lastly, Sims must clean its perch whenever it gets dirty.
If players are able to take care of their Crow properly, Sims will be able to befriend it, which will result in the Crow bringing gifts back home occasionally and being given the ability to show affection and send the Crow on Crow Collective Recon Missions.
Should You Get a Grim Standard or Deluxe Ascendant Crow in The Sims 4?
There is one major difference between the Standard and Deluxe Ascendant Crow in The Sims 4: the Grim Deluxe Ascendant Crow doesn’t have a Hunger or Perch State Need, reducing maintenance work.
It also seems that the Deluxe Ascendant Crow goes on recon missions by itself more frequently, but this is not confirmed yet.
The difference between the two Crows is only 175 Simoleons, so gamers who don’t want to waste time doing this can simply purchase the Deluxe variant. However, these tasks require minimal effort and won’t take away too much of the Sim’s or player’s time.
