Among the quests available in the Hossberg Wetlands region is Spinning Gold From Grey, which you can only access after completing the Cauldron story quest. This is a fairly short quest that requires you to locate and defeat three mercenary groups.
First Mercenary Group Location
For the first group, head southwest to the beacon location.
Near the ship there, you will encounter the first mercenary group that you can take down.
These enemies wear armor, so you will need to use your heavy attack to break their yellow bar (which represents the armor that absorbs a significant amount of damage) before you can deal effective damage with your other attacks.
Second Mercenary Group Location
Slightly northeast from your current location, take the stairs, and you will find the second group of mercenaries waiting for you.
Defeat them before moving on.
Third Mercenary Group Location
From the second mercenary group’s location, you will be able to spot some wooden stairs and structures that you can climb to reach the upper floor.
Once you make it up, head into the room in front of you, where you will fight the third and final mercenary group for this quest.
Complete The Quest
With all three mercenary groups defeated, head back to Warden Sawyer and report that the task is complete.
For your efforts, you will receive the following rewards:
- 200 Gold
- Increased bonds with your companions
- Increased Grey Warden Strength
- Increased Lords of Fortune Strength
- 5 Fade-Touched Ore
