Genshin Impact Version 5.2: Flower-Feather Clan Leaks Explained

Genshin Impact‘s Natlan chapter has been showcasing the vibrant sights of the Pyro region, as well as the equally fiery personalities of its citizens. Located in the western part of Teyvat, Natlan has six major tribes that oversee the land and dragons that roam around the region. As the story progresses, Genshin Impact will likely continue showcasing the different areas and characters from the tribes.

One of the Natlan tribes is the Flower-Feather Clan, which was founded by Lianca and Menilek and is the home of Qucusaur Riders. As of now, Genshin Impact has introduced the playable 5-star Anemo character Chasca from this tribe, but some leaks are already hinting at important characters that might show up in Version 5.2.

When is the Flower-Feather Clan Coming to Genshin Impact?

The Flower-Feather Clan will officially debut in Genshin Impact Version 5.2, which launches on November 20. This will also be the release of 5-star characters Chasca and Ororon. The former is one of the Flower-Feather Clan’s Peacemakers, who often resolve tribal disputes and take part in the Night Warden Wars. She was also raised by a group of Qucusaurs after her parents abandoned her in the wild. Meanwhile, Ororon’s role is still unclear, but Genshin Impact fans are speculating that he might be an unexpected character to watch out for in Version 5.2 and beyond.

Rumored NPCs For Version 5.2

A leaker named JoQa recently shared models of the Flower-Feather Clan’s unnamed chief, who dons a headpiece with patterns reminiscent of Natlan’s Saurians. The chief could be a key figure in Version 5.2’s Archon Quest, who might help the Traveler in navigating the ins and outs of the village.

The Genshin Impact Wiki also mentions Flower-Feather Clan members known as “Wingless,” a group of people who don’t pass the exam to become a Qucusaur Rider. It’s implied that the Wingless are treated poorly in the village, leading to them leaving the Flower-Feather Clan and finding employment in other tribes. This group might make an appearance as NPCs in Version 5.2.

A Glimpse of the Flower-Feather Clan’s Home

Since the Flower-Feather Clan’s village is located at the top of Natlan’s towering mountains, players are expecting elevated areas in the new location. This seems to be the case based on a leaked clip from Flying Flame, which showed platforms suspended in the air and balloon-like fixtures.

Possible Qucusaur Sightings

Qucusaurs are a type of flying dragon in Natlan, and members of the Flower-Feather Clan are able to bond well with them. Ever since the start of the Natlan arc, Genshin Impact players have encountered a number of Qucusaur enemies in the region, such as the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant. It’s possible that the Flower-Feather Clan could have domesticated Qucusaurs that players can interact with or even ride.

  • Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant (aka Holawaga Ngoubou): A normal boss challenge that can be found in Huitzli Hill in the Basin of Unnumbered Flames, which drops the Mark of the Binding Blessing after being defeated.

Considering that members of the Flower-Feather Clan are allegedly known as great flyers, it’s likely that they get around Natlan on Qucusaurs. There had been rumors before that the Pyro region might introduce an exploration mechanic that involves dragon mounts, which could also be teasing at the possibility of flying around the region. Genshin Impact characters can already transform into Tepetlisaur Whelps and talk to its adult versions, so the next update could introduce a unique way to interact with the Qucusaurs.
