When is the Genshin Impact 5.2 release date? There are many rumors circulating about what could be upcoming in the next update, including a possible new area, characters, and quests, here’s everything we know.

Fortunately, we don’t have long to wait until the Genshin Impact 5.2 livestream reveal, where we’ll discover more about the next Genshin Impact banner and all the upcoming and new Genshin Impact characters. The Genshin Impact 5.2 release date is Wednesday, November 20, 2024, if the game follows the usual six-week schedule of updates. We’re currently in phase two of the 5.1 update, but expect more information when the livestream airs either this week or next.

Genshin Impact livestream dates typically fall on the Friday a week or two before the release of the next update, so we can expect the 5.2 livestream as early as Friday, November 8, 2024. This is where we expect to find out more on which events are coming to the update. Hoyoverse has already announced two new characters on social media, this usually means they’ll appear on upcoming banners.

Chasca

Rumored to be a five-star, main DPS, we do know that Chasca has the Anemo vision and is likely to use a bow as she has appeared in a previous Archon quest, using arrows to break the Spiritspeaker Stone. She is a member of the Flower-Feather clan, one of the six tribes in the Natlan region, and is known as the Peacemaker of the Tlalocan.

Ororon

Ororon wields the Electro element, as shown in the previous 5.1 livestream trailer. He was also seen using a bow in the trailer when he was running towards the Abyss, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. It’s likely he is a four-star character, as it’s rare that two five-star characters are released at one time. Ororon is from the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe, one of the six tribes in Natlan.

Genshin Impact 5.2 events

There seems to be conflicting information around whether an Archon quest is coming to the next update, but thanks to leaks from Honey Hunter, we do know which events to expect. It also looks like we’re getting fishing in the Natlan region and one of the main events could be a Dragonspine event according to a leak.
