It gives your Greninja a new Ability called Giant Water Shuriken. By discarding one Water Energy from your hand, you can put six damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokemon without using up your attack for the turn. It’s no wonder this is the most valuable Greninja in the set.

Miraculous Shine lets you Devolve all of your opponent’s Pokemon for a single Energy. This also has an interesting interaction with the rulings. If a Pokemon has more damage counters than the HP of the Pokemon it Devolved into, it gets knocked out.
