As Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been released for almost two weeks now, players are working their way up the rankings and discovering a plethora of different hidden classic weapons. While they aren’t unlocked in the same way as other Black Ops 6 weapons, they can be equipped via the game’s blueprint system, which turns existing weapons into some of Call of Duty‘s most iconic assault rifles, submachine guns, and more.
Call of Duty‘s classic prestige system made a triumphant return in Black Ops 6, allowing users to work their way through ten different prestige levels as well as the coveted prestige master, which features an additional 1,000 levels. After a player reaches level 55, they will have the option to prestige, which will reset their rank and lock any previously unlocked weapons and items. Aside from a fancy new emblem, there are plenty of other rewards to be earned, such as new operators, a permanent unlock token with every prestige, and even some hidden classic weapons.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Show Off Hidden Weapons
As players continue to work their way through the rankings, with some even already reaching prestige master in Black Ops 6, more and more hidden weapons are being discovered. Each time a player reaches a new prestige, they will be able to unlock new rewards at certain levels, including operators and other cosmetic items. Some of these rewards include weapon blueprints, which often come with a fancy camo and some pre-equipped attachments. But it looks like some of these blueprints are actually turning player’s weapons into some of the series’ most iconic assault rifles and submachine guns.
While the hidden weapons won’t be much of a secret to those who have already been working their way through the prestige levels, there are plenty of users blissfully unaware of their existence. As noted by ModenasHD on Twitter, one of the blueprints can be unlocked for the Model L assault rifle at prestige 2 level 50, seemingly turning the weapon into the iconic STG-44 from previous titles such as Vanguard, Advanced Warfare, and more.
There are plenty of other unlockable blueprints too, such as the ‘Teddy is a Liar’ blueprint for the C9 submachine gun at prestige 1 level 50. This not only gives players an epic camo for the C9, but it also comes with pre-installed attachments that turn it into the classic Thompson from Call of Duty: World at War. While these blueprints make it much easier for players to get their hands on these classic weapons, they can also be recreated with a few simple attachments, as shown by Reddit user AKMike99, who managed to turn the XM4 into the M16A3, the AS Val into the VSS Vintorez, and more.
