Beastars Anime Final Season Part 1 Release Date Confirmed

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Beastars made a big announcement regarding the future of the anime. It was disclosed that Beastars Final Season Part 1 will start airing on December 5, 2024.

It has already been confirmed that the final season will be divided into two cours. Beastars fans have had to wait for a long time for any update regarding the anime and with the new update, they can rest easy. Beastars Final Season 1 will bring the anime one step closer to its conclusion.

Beastars Final Season 1 Cast & Staff

Beastars fans can expect the main characters to return for the penultimate season. So, the voice actors will certainly reprise their respective roles. The following are bound to appear in Beastars Final season 1:

• Sayaka Senbongi as Haru

Additionally, viewers can look forward to more cast related announcements as the final season part 1 nears release.

The staff working on Beastars Final Season 1 has also been confirmed. Shinichi Matsumi is set to direct the anime. Previously, he has worked on Daddy Long-Legs, Rurouni Kenshin, and Eternal Family.

Nanami Higuchi (Delicious in Dungeon, Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia) is in charge of scripts for the upcoming season. Studio Orange will handle the production of final season part 1. It has produced Dorohedoro, Tiger & Bunny, Black Clover, Trigun Stampede, etc.

What Is The Beastars Anime About

Beastars is based on the manga of the same name written by Paru Itagaki. The manga began serializing in the Weekly Shonen Champion in September 2016. The Beastars manga came to an end in October 2020. It has released 20 volumes, and sold over 7 million copies, which is a great number for a series that is different from most mainstream entries.

The popularity of the manga meant that an anime adaptation was inevitable. An announcement was made in February 2019 which confirmed that the Beastars anime adaptation was in the works at CG studio Orange.

The first season of the anime was released on October 10, 2019. After the positive reception towards the anime, a second season was announced. Beastars season two aired from January 7 to March 25, 2021. The third and final season of the anime was announced on July 20, 2021.

The story of Beastars is set in a fantasy setting where anthropomorphic animals exist. At the center of things is Legoshi, a wolf, who studies at the Cherryton Academy. One fateful day, a student at the academy is brutally killed and eaten. This causes a divide between the students.
