ATF Is At It Again With More Toxicity and Trashtalk At DreamLeague S24
Name a more iconic duo than Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf and being toxic. The Team Falcons offlane player is feeling like his old self again by being toxic against another pro player, but this time it’s at DreamLeague S24.
Frankly, we can’t believe Ammar continued this considering last we checked he almost got into a physical altercation with another player.
What’s up with ATF at DreamLeague Season 24?
Dota 2 fans watching the DreamLeague S24 games are caught baffled by ATF’s in-game behavior. For the uninitiated, ATF threatened BetBoom Team’s Gleb “kiyotaka” Zyryanov that he will ‘break his face’. As cherry on top, he followed up by typing in all-chat ‘in real life’, which frankly can’t get any more explicit.
ATF’s statement on the Kiyotaka incident
Unfortunately, it was convenient of ATF to simply dismiss the incident as friendly banter. In his tweet, ATF shared that ‘he and kiyotaka are cool with each other’ and how they always troll one another in ranked games. Nevertheless, Ammar did admit that he might have gone too far with the earlier insults this time. Hence, he apologized to kiyotaka personally even though the latter apparently didn’t care and knew he was joking.
“me and kiyotaka are cool with each other we always troll each other in ranked games maybe I went kinda far with it and I told him sorry if I took it that far and he said he dont care and he knows that im joking everything I said to him was a joke nothing personal or real.”

BetBoom Team and Team Falcons have had a history of trash-talking incidents, which throughout all this time, they have always claimed to be mere banters. For instance, when former BetBoom player, Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek had a similar toxic banter with ATF.
ATF and Ame’s incident at DreamLeague S24
Unsurprisingly, ATF also got into another conflict at the same event, but with Xtreme Gaming’s Wang “Ame” Chunyu. However, this incident is more subtle, compared to that of Kiyotaka’s incident. D
During Team Falcons vs Xtreme Gaming’s match, the two players had a flurry of tips, typically after each other fumbled a play or died in-game. In ATF’s defense, Ame isn’t exactly the most respectable Dota 2 player when it comes to being positive mental attitude. The Chinese prodigy has had his fair share of toxic behaviour and trashtalk towards other Chinese players himself. Still, ATF found himself again making headlines with this toxic incident
The Playoffs of DreamLeague S24 haven’t even started and we already have two ATF’s toxic incidents. Let’s hope that ATF’s typical ways doesn’t land him a similar incident at the PGL Wallachia S2, where he had a altercation with Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev. If worse comes to worst, at least we have Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi from Nigma Galaxy, who can sort things out between ATF and whoever’s irritated by his toxicity.
