Promotions related to the purchase of real life products have become significantly more common in video games. What was once just artwork of an upcoming video game on a can of soda became a way for players to get their hands on exclusive in-game items. As part of the 20th Anniversary celebration of World of Warcraft, Mountain Dew has a bunch of rewards available for players who purchase either Mountain Dew or Dorito products.

While this is hardly the first promotion of its kind for World of Warcraft, there are many unique and exclusive rewards that can only be obtained through this promotion. All Mountain Dew Rewards in World of Warcraft

There are seven cosmetic items in total that you can obtain from the Mountain Dew promotion in World of Warcraft. All but one of these items (Lil’ Ragnaros) are completely new and haven’t been available for players until now.

In addition to these rewards, players can also acquire a key for the Epic Edition of The War Within for 4,000 points. According to the website, the codes for The War Within are in limited supply.

How to Get the Mountain Dew Rewards in World of Warcraft

In order to get these rewards, you will need to purchase Mountain Dew and Dorito products. Certain products are worth more points as depicted, and you will want to look for specially marked bags/bottles. Each item will have a 10-digit code either under the tab/bottle cap or on the side of the bag.

• Bags of Doritos: 100 Points
• 20oz Bottle of Regular/Diet Mountain Dew: 100 Points
• 12 Pack of Mountain Dew: 500 Points
• 24 Pack of Mountain Dew: 1000 Points
• Variant Mountain Dew Flavors (IE Purple Thunder, Maui Burst, Frostbite, etc)
• 20oz Bottle of Mountain Dew Game Fuel (either flavor): 200 Points
• 12 Pack of Mountain Dew Game Fuel (either flavor): 1000 Points

You will need to create a Mountain Dew account to redeem points, so make sure you do that first before redeeming codes. Once you have enough points, you will see the option to redeem points under each item listed on the market page.

When you redeem the points, a code will be sent to your registered e-mail address. This code can be redeemed either on the Battle.net website or on the desktop application. Go to “Redeem Code” and then enter the code there.

Next, log into a character in World of Warcraft. You will see a message that says you have an item in your collection. Go to that tab and unwrap your new item.
