One Piece Recently saw the reveal of yet another Vivre Card pack, and it is safe to say that a lot of incredible information was provided to the fans here. Among a load of exciting bits of information that fans found, Oda also went on to reveal the bounties of many members of the Marines. As fans know already, after the establishment of the Cross Guild, most but the members of the Navy had a high bounty put on their heads, and then in the Egghead Island arc, a lot of these bounties were revealed to the fans. However, most of them remained unknown, that is, until the recent Vivre Card pack was published.

Now, most of these bounties have been revealed to the fans, and some of the highest ones include those of the Admirals and, of course, the Fleet Admiral. Specifically, the bounty of Akainu was revealed to be quite shocking, and fans are already making arguments for Akainu being on the same level as the likes of the Yonko, if not higher.
Akainu’s Latest Bounty Revealed In Vivre Cards
- Akainu Is The Fleet Admiral
- Akainu’s Bounty Is Higher Than The Admirals’
In the latest Vivre Card pack of One Piece, Oda revealed that Akainu’s bounty is a staggering 5 billion berries. In the gross Guild bounty system, Akainu has a bounty of Five Crowns. This might be surprising to some, but to others, it makes total sense. Every Admiral in the ranks at the Navy has a Three Crown bounty. As such, it only makes sense for the Fleet Admiral to have an even higher bounty. Naturally, the Fleet Admiral was always going to have a higher bounty, and it was revealed that he carries a Five Crown bounty, which translates to 5 billion berries.
No pirate shall prosper as long as I am here! – Akainu
This is quite a staggering amount and is actually in the same league as the rewards of the legends of the One Piece world, such as Roger and Whitebeard. In fact, these are the only three individuals in the One Piece world known to have a 5 billion berry bounty, at the very least. Of course, the one with the lowest bounty of them all is Sakuzuki, who is followed by Whitebeard and, the one with the greatest bounty of them all is none other than Roger, the Pirate King. Undoubtedly, being put on the same level as these legends means that his strength is comparable, at least to the Yonko. Whether the strength is higher than the Yonko or not is debatable, but fans can tell that his bounty is certainly deserved, given a high position.
Unortunately, the Bounty of the former Fleet Admiral of the Marines, Sengoku, was not revealed to the fans. However, his reward is likely close to 5 billion berries as well. This is because Sengoku also held the position of Fleet Admiral, and, just like Sakazuki, his bounty should be 5 Crowns as well. This is also supported by the fact that all Admirals in the ranks of the Navy have the same bounty, regardless of how high or low their strength is. Unless old age and retirement play a factor, Sengoku should have a similar bounty to Sakuzuki, to say the least.
Akainu’s Yonko Level Status In One Piece Has Been Confirmed
Akainu Should Not Be Any Weaker Than An Average Emperor In One Piece
Now that it has been confirmed in One Piece that Akainu has a 5 billion berry bounty, fans are already discussing whether he has Yonko-level status or not. Akainu was always known to be strong. Fans knew that he was quite a match for the Yonko of the One Piece world, and this was even shown to them in the Paramount War Arc. In this arc, he went head-to-head with Whitebeard and did well. Of course, this came after Whitebeard had been already injured and was already on his last legs due to his disease, but fans know that Akainu did more than well against him. He went blow for blow against him, and even gave him some of the most terrible injuries that he has ever had. This was proof that Sakazuki is incredibly strong. If this wasn’t enough to convince the fans, then, there is also the fact that Admiral Sakazuki made the entirety of the Blackbeard Pirates flee in the New World.
Don’t you like flashy funerals, Whitebeard? – Akainu
Clearly, Sakazuki was always known to have a status comparable to the Yonko. As the Fleet Admiral, he is quite aggressive in his approach to chasing down the Pirates, and it was made clear to the fans that he would not be taking them lightly. He established the HQ of the Marines in the New World, which was something that no Fleet Admiral ever did before. Akainu swore to destroy all the pirates, even the likes of the Yonko, whom the Navy usually does not touch.

Can Akainu Match The Elites In The Final Saga?
Akainu Is Already As Strong As The Elites Of The World
y
Akainu has not had much to do in the Final Saga of One Piece, but it goes without saying that he should be on the same level as the elites. This shouldn’t be a surprise to any fan. He was already very powerful before the timeskip, but now, he should be even stronger. After all, he is one of the main antagonists that Luffy will have to face at some point in the story, and when that point comes, he should be strong enough to match up to him.
Fans know that Akainu has a very powerful Devil Fruit. His Magu Magu no Mi is said to be one of the strongest Devil Fruits and this fruit has the destructive power of the highest order, which is only matched by the Gura Gura no Mi. This makes his devil fruit one of the most destructive ones in the entire series. At the same time, he also needs powerful Haki of two types, which is known to be Observation and Armament. Fans should expect a few advanced types of Haki as well. Above all, Akainu isn’t known to have Conqueror’s Haki, at least not yet. However, given that the Former Fleet Admiral, Sengoku, had powerful Conqueror’s Haki, Akainu should have it as well. With all these powers up his sleeve, fans can expect Akainu to be as strong as the Yonko and one of the elites who will push Luffy in the final Saga.
It is only a matter of time before Akainu makes his move and shows to everyone that he is a force to be reckoned with, and that no one in the world of One Piece is powerful enough to stop him, other than, of course, those who hold status similar to him.
One Piece is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus apps. The release date for the next chapter of One Piece, One Piece 1131, is set to be November 11, 2024.
