Monolith’s Wonder Woman Game Could Be Revealed Soon
Key Takeaways
- We’ve seen very little of Monolith’s Wonder Woman game, but that may be set to end soon.
- Monolith’s website recently had its design changed, suggesting Monolith may be gearing up for a potential reveal soon.
- A possible venue for the reveal could be The Game Awards, as it was the event that saw Wonder Woman first revealed in 2021.
Monolith’s Wonder Woman game has been MIA for quite some time now. Following its first reveal at the Game Awards way back in 2021, we’ve had nothing but radio silence from Monolith, and nothing but bad news from less official channels. It was suggested earlier this year that development had become “troubled” at the studio, and the only official news we have about the game is that it isn’t a live service title.
Monolith’s last game was Middle-earth: Shadow of War back in 2017, so you’d expect us to get something from the studio relatively soon, given it hasn’t released a game in over seven years. While we’re still waiting to hear from Monolith itself, a very eagle-eyed fan noticed that a rather significant update was made to the studio’s website recently, suggesting that Monolith may be preparing for an imminent reveal.
Monolith Might Be Gearing Up To Reveal Wonder Woman At The Game Awards
First spotted by Twitter user WWGameUpdates, the Monolith website appears to have undergone a slight redesign, trading in the simple, blue color scheme for a more stylized red color scheme, which is fitting when you consider the superhero we’re talking about. It’s not a huge set of changes, and could very well be nothing at all, but it is odd that the website for a game that’s been silent for so long has just been suddenly updated.
If Monolith is indeed gearing up to re-reveal Wonder Woman with a more substantial trailer this time around, it’s very likely that we’re looking at The Game Awards for potential venues. It was initially revealed at The Game Awards back in 2021, which means creator Geoff Keighley already has their number, and it’s the only major event left this year, barring any surprise PlayStation or Xbox showcases.

Warner Bros. Can’t Afford To Fumble The Wonder Woman Game
After Suicide Squad and Gotham Knights, the Wonder Woman game needs to be good.
All we can really do is cross our fingers and wait for the day to come, but DC fans will have their fingers crossed extra hard after the high-profile flops of both Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights. Warner Bros. desperately needs to convince us that they can actually release a decent superhero game that doesn’t have Batman in the title, though you couldn’t really ask for a better studio to deliver that than Monolith.
