A series of real life Fallout weapon replicas from Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 have been discovered by a fan of the games. It’s been quite the year for Bethesda’s Fallout franchise, which released its eight-episode Amazon TV series back in the Spring to massive critical acclaim, driving new fans to beloved games like Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Even the live service game Fallout 76 saw a big boost in players as a result of the show’s success.
While it can be said that Fallout: New Vegas has become the more beloved game of Bethesda’s RPG franchise over the last several years, there’s still a ton of appreciation for its predecessor, Fallout 3, and the most recent mainline title, Fallout 4, which will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in about a year from now. Bethesda’s franchises have been known to cultivate some of the most creative fanbases in video games, such as The Elder Scrolls. Even Bethesda Game Studios’ latest, Starfield, is home to fans who make incredible things both in-game with the help of mods and also in real life.

One Fallout fan stumbled upon a set of impressive weapon replicas from the games at a local shop. On Reddit, Long_TimeRunning posted an image of four different pistols from Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 that have been recreated in real life. From Fallout 3, the base 10mm pistol is on display next to the Alien Blaster from the game’s zany yet quite niche Mothership Zeta DLC. Fallout 4‘s 10mm pistol and AER9 laser pistol grace the photo as well. The two 10mm pistol replicas cost $30, while the Mothership gun and AER9 run closer to $50.
Fallout Fan Spots Fallout 3 and 4 Pistol Replicas
Since Long_TimeRunning’s image doesn’t have an object to scale, it’s difficult to tell whether these are miniature models or if they’re accurately sized. According to fans under the post, life-sized props would usually go for a couple of hundred dollars, so the lower prices of these replicas seem to indicate that they may be miniature replicas. It’s impressive to see a replica of a weapon from Fallout 3‘s Mothership Zeta DLC, since it isn’t as popular as some of the game’s more grounded expansions, like Point Lookout, Operation: Anchorage, or The Pitt, which appeared as a Fallout 76 Expeditions update in 2022. It would’ve also been interesting to see some of Fallout: New Vegas‘ weapons included, though large swaths of that game’s arsenal are either directly based off real-world weapons or are brought over from Fallout 3, though there are still a number of guns that are unique to New Vegas.
The next big Fallout project fans can get excited about is the second season of the Amazon TV series. Production is expected to start sometime this month with hopes of a 2025 release. Until the next big Bethesda Fallout game releases, Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 are bound to continue receiving tons of attention as the show creates more fans.
