Forza Horizon 5 Has Hit an Amazing New Milestone 3 Years After Launch

A recent finding reveals that Forza Horizon 5 has whizzed past yet another impressive player milestone nearly three years after its launch.

Playground Games has now announced yet another such crossover that’s planned to arrive as part of its next Forza Horizon 5 update. Called Horizon Track Day, this patch will feature dozens of EventLab props inspired by the Halo franchise. There will be 71 such items in total, ranging from various beam variants and covers to pillars, supports, totems, and walls. A Halo-inspired decorative pylon will also be part of the package, as will a variety of UNSC-branded props like barricades, packaging crates, and even a full-fledged Pelican aircraft.

Forza Horizon 5’s Halo Update Is Just Around the Corner

The upcoming update is planned to launch on Tuesday, November 5. As per usual, Horizon Track Day will roll out to both PC and Xbox console users simultaneously. Aside from dozens of props, the update will also improve the Forza Horizon 5 EventLab with the addition of two new sky options. Both of them are part of the Halo crossover as well, much like their “Halo Sky Day” and “Halo Sky Night” monikers suggest.

One final Halo-themed addition that’s coming as part of Horizon Track Day is a set of new music tracks. These include Halo Theme Gungnir Mix (feat. Steve Vai), the first track from Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack, which will start playing periodically on the Horizon XS station following the upcoming update. Meanwhile, Radio Eterna will add Installation 04 from Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 5: GuardiansThe Trials to its tracklist.

Horizon Track Day won’t be exclusively focused on Halo content, as the update also promises to expand the selection of Forza Horizon 5 cars with the addition of three 2023 Porsche models: the 911 Rallye, 911 GT3 R, and 911 Turbo S. As for what’s next for the hit open-world racing game, Forza Horizon 5 is planned to receive one more update before the end of 2024. Playground Games said this content drop will include some festive Stadium decorations, new reward cars, clothing items, and even a special showcase remix, all of which will be geared toward commemorating the upcoming holiday season.
