Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has pulled the curtain back on three new multiplayer maps coming to the game as part of Season 1. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has already enjoyed a great deal of success in its pre-season, but now all eyes are on Season 1 and everything it will have to offer Call of Duty fans.

Notably, Season 1 will see Black Ops 6 integrated with the Warzone battle royale, offering gamers more unity between the two experiences. This will include the debut of the new Area 99 map, as well as the introduction of Black Ops 6 omnimovement. But while Season 1 means big things for Warzone, it also will have plenty of content added for fans of the traditional Call of Duty multiplayer experience.

Activision has given fans a look at three new multiplayer maps coming to Black Ops 6 with Season 1. Now, exact release dates for these maps have not been announced. It’s possible all of them will be added when Season 1 goes live on November 14, but it’s also possible that they will be spread throughout the season. Regardless, Black Ops 6 fans can look forward to two new core multiplayer maps, Hideout and Extraction, and a new Strike multiplayer map, Heirloom.

New Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Maps for Season 1

  • Extraction
  • Heirloom
  • Hideout

Black Ops 6 Strike maps can be used for 6v6 matches, but they are primarily built with 2v2 Gunfight in mind. No matter what multiplayer game mode Black Ops 6 fans prefer, Season 1 will be delivering some fresh environments to battle it out on. The maps themselves look interesting, though fans will have to get their hands on them before drawing any final conclusions.

Extraction appears to take place at a coastal hangar, complete with helicopters, while Heirloom is set in a museum. Finally, Hideout appears to be set on a military base. The existing Black Ops 6 multiplayer maps all have a great deal of personality, and it looks as though that design philosophy is carrying over to the Season 1 new additions.

Extraction, Heirloom, and Hideout aren’t the first post-launch maps to be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Fans of the game were just recently treated to the return of Nuketown, a fan favorite that first appeared in the original Black Ops from 2010. Nuketown’s debut coincided with a Double XP weekend, so perhaps the same will hold true for the new maps added in Season 1.
