The new edition of 7 Days to Die has introduced even more complex game mechanics to its zombie-infested maps. Guns will play a big part in 7 Days to Die as time goes on. However, in the beginning, aside from low-tier pipe weapons, players won’t have much of a need for gun parts. Since gun parts typically sell for a fair amount of Dukes, it’s worth selling them to purchase more useful things like food and armor mods.

Items like rocket launcher parts are pretty useless to players during the first few weeks. So, there really isn’t much point in hanging on to them. Plus, as the player progresses and begins visiting large towns and cities, they will come across lots of guns and gun parts.

This may not always be the case as, sometimes, the resources required to repair the item may exceed the item’s overall worth, but for the most part, 7 Days to Die players should try to sell items in the best condition possible to maximize the amount of Dukes that traders will pay for them.

7 Lower Level Items

Each time the player levels up certain perks or reads certain magazines, they will learn how to craft items at higher levels. Also, while looting, as the player levels up, they’ll start coming across higher-level items. For example, if the player uses a level 2 pistol but stumbles across a level 3 pistol, there’s no value in keeping the old weapon.

It’s worth turning in weapons that are no longer needed for a few Dukes at the nearest trader. However, players should also pay close attention to the mods on their weapons and always remove any important ones before parting with a weapon.

Magazines play a big part in character progression in 7 Days to Die. Players need certain magazines to learn how to craft specific in-game items. Selling items nets some XP as well as Dukes, so it can help players to level up a little faster. When the player finds a magazine, they should check to see if it is useful for their playstyle. If not, then it may be worth selling it.

Dukes are the accepted currency of the zombie apocalypse. However, some people still have pre-outbreak money stashed away in their homes, safes, and even on their persons. Players can kill zombies and loot homes for this cash.

While it can be scrapped down for cloth, it’s much more profitable to sell this form of currency to a trader. Also, since players can hold money in large amounts, it is a great item to horde in large quantities to sell to one of the game’s traders.

3 Super Corn

Hard To Find, Easy To Grow, Plenty Of Profit

Super Corn is a very rare crop that can be planted and grown. Once grown, it can be used to craft duct tape. In 7 Days To Die, players can never have too much duct tape. Not only can Super Corn be used to craft duct tape, but it can also be sold for a huge profit. Players can make thousands of Dukes every few days by dedicating an area to Super Corn production.

Finding this item can be a little tricky. While there’s a small chance that players can find Super Corn inside loot containers or receive it as a mission reward, the best place to go to get it is the basement at Carl’s Corn. Players can also get Super Corn inside the Shamway Food Factory. However, this is a high-level area that is very tough to clear.

Sell Gold, Silver, & Diamonds For A Nice Chunk Of Change

The more the player mines, the more rare materials they’ll get, which is a nice incentive for doing what would otherwise be a rather tedious task.
