All Cheat Commands For 1.6.9 Update

The 1.6.9 patch has finally arrived for Stardew Valley on console versions of the game, bringing changes that were originally only available to PC players. While the update’s big headliners are a new friend in the game who can help players find their lost items and have some altered dialogue conversations with the residents of the town, there is also the inclusion of hidden cheat commands. While not an extensive list, yet, these cheat commands offer players a way to change some things in their save files at a moment’s notice.

However, it should be noted that doing this will require players to edit their save files, which needs to be done carefully. If a mistake is made, it can completely break the game file, and players should always create a backup file before attempting to edit a save file. How To use Cheat Commands In Stardew Valley

At the time of writing, there are only two cheat commands that are currently available as part of this new mechanic. Entering these commands can also be a bit of a process.

4. Load the save file normally
5. Use the chat box to enter the cheat commands

All Cheat Commands In Stardew Valley

The two available cheat commands are the following:

• money – replacing “” with the value that the player wants will add that amount of money to their wallet (i.e. /money 700).
• debug – allows players to run any debug command available through the game’s chat box (i.e. /debug player_add name “Galaxy Sword”)

These commands are great for helping a player’s farm get up and running much quicker than they normally would. Being able to buy more seeds or pay for more construction projects will help get players a leg up as they start on their farm-running adventure.
