While there are plenty of Dragon-themed sets in the Pokemon TCG
, Dragon Majesty offers one of the best varieties of Dragon-type Pokemon and Dragon specialist trainers who appear among the set’s best cards. While the Sun & Moon era is complete with valuable sets, Dragon Majesty stands out from the rest with its collection of rare Pokemon.

Pokemon TCG: The 12 Most Valuable Cards In Shining Fates
With the Pokemon trading card game still going strong, these are the best cards in Shining Fates.
From the signature Rainbow Secret Rare recolors to a stunning gold variation, Dragon Majesty offers a blend of cards that can appeal to a wide range. Furthermore, when it comes to the most valuable cards in Dragon Majesty, it’s impossible to ignore a surprising appearance from a trainer not primarily associated with Dragon-type Pokemon.
Cards are ordered according to their TCGPlayer Market Price, which you might pay on average for a copy of the cards below.
However, sale prices differ depending on the card’s condition, so this market price is just a rough idea of the card’s value.
10
Dragonite GX (Ultra Rare) – $8.44
A Kanto Original
Dragonite was the first pseudo-legendary Dragon-type Pokemon introduced in Pokemon, and it’s no accident that this classic design appears among the best cards in Dragon Majesty.
Few other Pokemon stuck out as iconic Dragons quite like Dragonite.
While this Dragonite was once below five dollars in early 2024, it has experienced a Renaissance, with its value rising to the current market price, boasting enough support to possibly push it into the double digits if the trend stays steady.
9
Switch Raft (Secret Rare) – $10.18
A Life Saver
While there’s no doubt that Item cards can become incredibly popular as expansions age, it’s hard to imagine that Switch Raft will continue its momentum upward after a resurgence that saw it soar into the double digits after hitting the nine-dollar mark.
The uptick seems to be stalling for the time being, and it’s no surprise to see this card slowing down, as it’s not one of the most memorable items you’ll find in the series.
8
Altaria GX (Secret Rare) – $11.90
A Beautiful Choice For A Rainbow
While Altaria might not be as valuable as Dragon Pokemon from other expensive sets like EX Dragon, this card still represents the Pokemon well. While Altaria is a Dragon-type Pokemon, its Mega Evolution adds the Fairy typing and injects new life into Altaria’s cloud design.
Similarly, the Rainbow Secret Rare recolor enhances Altaria’s simple color palette. While Altaria might struggle to get back above $13, this depiction is likely to remain one of the Pokemon’s most expensive cards.
7
Dragonite GX (Full Art) – $12.44
Return Of The Original Dragon
Dragonite’s most valuable cards soar far above its entries in Dragon Majesty, but with its second appearance in the set, it’s clear that Dragonite remains one of the most popular Dragon-type Pokemon to ever appear in the series.

Espeon’s best cards feature vintage favorites from Aquapolis, Unseen Forces, and more.
Unfortunately, this Dragonite is falling over time, following a downward trend to its current market price after previously commanding closer to $20. While the future is uncertain, this card will need a major catalyst to change its trajectory.
6
Blaine’s Last Stand (Full Art) – $14.35
An Unexpected Guest
While you might typically associate Blaine with Fire-type Pokemon, this trainer appears in Dragon Majesty with an epic full art that gives this Gym Leader an epic action shot design.
Blaine is known to have a Charizard, which can be linked to Dragons, explaining his appearance.
Blaine saw a spike in value from $13 to over $15, though the card’s run up the charts has slowed down a bit and settled into its current market value. Despite the downturn, this card might spike again in the future given its unique depiction of the trainer.
5
White Kyurem GX (Secret Rare) – $18.65
Forces Combine
White Kyurem is the fused form of Kyurem and Reshiram, offering a two-for-one in this stunning Rainbow Secret Rare artwork. Luckily, this Pokemon’s white color palette is a good base to replace with rainbows, as the simple design is a good canvas for the new injection of color.
While you’ll likely be looking for a near-mint (NM) copy given the set’s relatively recent release, expect to pay around the market price for it. However, a lightly played (LP) card can offer a small discount to the tune of $15, with moderately played (MP) cards coming in at $13.
4
Reshiram GX (Secret Rare) – $20.05
Elegance Personified
Reshiram’s Rainbow Secret Rare has had an uptick that saw this stunning card regain lost value. However, it’s hard to compare some of the best Reshiram cards with this one, as it offers some of the same positive design aspects but falls well short of other expensive cards.

Pecharunt is just getting started with a solid debut in Shrouded Fable.
Reshiram once hovered around the $22 mark before 2024 began and ushered this card down to about $18 before it returned to the $20 mark.
3
Salamence GX (Secret Rare) – $27.65
A Solid Showing For Salamence
Salamence appears with one of the best poses of any Dragon thus far, and in a set where it’s Dragon vs. Dragon, sometimes having a more visually appealing card can sway values dramatically.
Salamence’s journey hasn’t been easy, as it previously cost around $30, then dropped to about $26 before rebounding back toward the $29 mark. Recently, Salamence dropped below $29 but still maintains a solid price that’s likely to remain similar in the future.
2
Zinnia (Full Art) – $58.60
Ready To Battle
Zinnia takes the crown for the most expensive Trainer card in Dragon Majesty, as this upstart looks poised for an intense battle as she tosses a Poke Ball in her hand. Zinnia’s fierce expression and battle-ready pose help her stand out from the other cards in Dragon Majesty.
Unfortunately, Zinnia has fallen from grace, as she once cost over $75, but can’t hold a candle to that number any longer. Zinnia experienced an extremely rough 2024, dropping from about $68 to her current market price, as her downward trend continues to push her price lower and lower.
1
Ultra Necrozma GX (Secret Rare) – $72.60
Another All-Gold Headliner
Even though Ultra Necrozma can’t muscle its way into the most valuable cards from the Sun & Moon era, it claims the title of the most valuable card in Dragon Majesty, perfectly embodying the set’s name. While it’s difficult to discern the Pokemon’s features clearly from the shades of gold, this card’s rarity and popularity prop up its price.
However, it shares a similar story to Zinnia, with Ultra Necrozma previously reaching heights of $85, but now sits closer to the $70 mark. While a rebound pushed the price up away from the mid-60s, Necrozma’s next few months will be pivotal to deciding its future trend.
