How To Get The Dellamorte Estates Hidden Chest In Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Almost every great RPG city can be enhanced by a fun puzzle to solve, and the merchant city of Treviso has its own for you to figure out in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. You’ll find the Dellamorte Estates at the northern end of the city, and in it is a garden filled with statues and a note hinting at a game of wits.

This one requires some careful statue repositioning.

There are several statues in the garden: some can be turned around, others you aren’t able to climb up to, but have levers at the base of them, and one is hidden behind a closed gate. Surely there’s some sort of treasure as a reward for completing it? Only one way to find out.

How To Reach Dellamorte Estates

From the Grande Market beacon in Treviso, go east down the hall, then take the north path which leads to Heart and Central, or fast travel straight to the Heart and Central beacon if you’ve already found it, and go across the large bridge toward the Antaam encampment.

There will be a handful of regular Antaam you can kill for some EXP and a slight increase to Lucanis’ bond if you’ve brought him with you, so take them out.

Follow the path to the east past two spear-like objects to a small courtyard, then north through a corridor with vine-covered walls to the garden where the puzzle is.

You can also find a Fen’Harel Altar in the courtyard before the garden area and its statue is hidden behind a set of boxes in a nearby corner.

How To Solve The Dellamorte Estates Puzzle

For this puzzle, you’ll need to make each statue face the correct direction or flip particular levers, and each of these requires you to use Spite’s Reach to either see the direction or get to them.

First, move the three statues on the ground. Reveal the entity beside each statue with Spite’s Reach, then interact with each one and match the direction it points to.

You don’t have to do the ground and platform statues in a particular order, but it does cut down time if you do all one type first, then do all the remaining ones.

Next, go for the statues on the stone platforms. This time you’ll need to use Spite’s Reach to reveal some hands you can climb on and flip the levers for the next three statues. After you do this, the gate at the top of the wall will open.

Climb it and use Spite’s Reach to find the direction it needs to be in again, and this will open a door next to the readable note on the northern wall.

Inside, you’ll find some regular loot and a chest with Jenny’s Belt, a Unique Grenade Belt that applies the Bees! status effect on nearby enemies when you heal.
