You might be fortunate enough to find one in the mystery box, but if you prefer a more consistent method, crafting them is an option. Much like the Liberty Falls map, where you can craft the wonder weapon, the Jet Gun, Terminus features a unique wonder weapon called the Beamsmasher, which is not only powerful but it is also the first main step of your planning to do the Terminus main quest. If you’re looking to craft it, this guide will provide you with a step-by-step walkthrough.
How To Craft The Beamsmasher
In the Terminus map in Zombies mode, you can acquire a free wonder weapon called the Beamsmasher by gathering the necessary parts.
After starting the Terminus map, progress normally by activating the three AMP machines and making your way to the Pack-a-Punch.
Start by equipping the Dead Wire Ammo Mod on your current weapon. You can do this at the nearby Arsenal machine, but be sure you have at least 500 Salvage to make the modification.
Once you restore power, head to the inclined lift and activate it. While going up, look back at the wall, and you will see an electrical box inside a window. Shoot it with the weapon that has Dead Wire equipped.
This will activate the electricity, moving it to the next box, which is just to your right. Shoot that one, then immediately look to your right again to spot another box that you need to shoot.
If you miss any, you can always call the inclined lift back to repeat the process.
There are two more electrical boxes to shoot: one next to the room with the second AMP generator and the other just outside to the right side.
If done correctly and you shoot all five boxes, the room with the green door will open near the last electrical box, revealing a secret room.
Inside, you will find a zombie on the ground. Shoot it to collect the EMF FOB it drops, which starts the actual process for crafting the Beamsmasher.
In this room, you will need to interact with the device there, but you can only do this after acquiring the Multiphasic Resonator from a briefcase with a zombie’s hand on it, located on a table next to the Elemental Pop machine at the sea tower.
After obtaining the resonator, head back to the secret room and plug it into the device. The next step is to locate three laptops scattered around.
The first laptop is at the docks below the sea tower. The second one is just outside the room where Quick Revive is located.
The final one can be found outside the room where Stamin-Up is.
Once you’ve interacted with all three laptops, return to the machine and interact with it. You will see a prompt to input a code.
While it’s math-related, you can skip the hassle by going to Peck in the spawn room and paying 5,000 Essence to get the code easily. Insert the code into the machine, and it will start working.
Note that the code changes every match.
After that, complete one or two rounds until you get notified that the machine has finished its process. Return to the machine and look at its screen, which will point to an island, usually the one located to the east; that’s your destination, but don’t forget to pick up the Multiphasic Resonator.
As you approach the island using a raft, you will see a blue ball of energy. Interact with it using the Multiphasic Resonator to activate it.
Here, zombies will spawn, but your objective here is to wait for the ball to select one zombie, which will then turn blue and start smoking; that’s the one you need to kill.
After defeating it, it will drop a small orb that you need to pick up and take back to the blue ball of energy.
You may need to repeat this process two to three times, as it seems random. Once completed, you will see the source ball move to another island, which you need to follow.
Essentially, you will repeat this process on two other islands: the southern island and the northwestern island. The orb will change from green to purple, but the process remains the same.
Just remember to pick up the Multiphasic Resonator each time you finish.
Completing this step will grant you the final part of the Beamshamsehr, which is the AMP ammunition part.
With everything in hand, return to the secret room and interact with the workbench to craft the Beamsmasher, and you’ll be able to use it.
