Where To Acquire Goose Skin In Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

Don’t be surprised if you’ve never seen a goose in your playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn. This elusive bird is indeed very rare. Fortunately, there’s one spot where you can reliably hunt several at once.

1. Reach the Campfire shown in the video above (northeast of Mother’s Watch and Northwest of Mother’s Cradle).
2. Head north from the campfire and take a sharp right at the two lit torches.
3. Follow the path, jumping over any gaps, and climb up the walls until you reach a platform with a zipline.
4. Use your Focus here to spot around a dozen geese in the southern area below.
5. Start hunting as many Geese as you can.

Stay on the platform and hunt as many geese as possible from above before rappelling down to collect your loot. This way, you’ll likely gather a few Goose Skins.

Why You Need Goose Skin In Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

Given how rare geese are in the game, it’s fortunate that you don’t need many Goose Skins for crafting. In your first playthrough, you’ll only need one Goose Skin. In New Game Plus, you’ll need two, and in NG+ with Ultra Hard difficulty, three. The following items require Goose Skins:
