Where To Find Motorboats in Fortnite

The debut of Fortnite Remix takes players back to the Chapter 2 island, where a range of nostalgic locations awaits. This season, players may find themselves getting their hands on various unvaulted weapons, battling familiar NPCs like Dynamo TNTina for their Mythic weapons, and exploring the Fortnite island in all its glory.

Setting their sights on hot-drop locations like The Dogpound, where Snoop Dogg resides, players might find themselves needing a quick way to travel around the map. While vehicles remain available in this nostalgia-filled season, one particular vehicle that hasn’t been seen for quite some time has made a return: the Motorboat, which is perfect for getting from point A to point B in a flash.

Where To Find Motorboats

Motorboats are vehicles that can commonly be found near bodies of water all across the Fortnite island. Players will often come across them along the rivers flowing through the island, making them a great way to quickly progress upstream or downstream whenever needed.

Motorboats are also commonly found in locations on and off the coast or near water on the Fortnite island, namely the following POIs:

• The Rig
• The Yacht
• Dirty Docks
• Misty Meadows
• Slurpy Swamp
• Sweaty Sands
• Lazy Lake

Some of the aforementioned locations may often fall far outside the first safe zone, making Motorboats an excellent tool to quickly get ahead of the storm in the early game — eliminating instances where players may otherwise fall victim to the storm.

How To Use a Motorboat

The Motorboat can be driven like any other vehicle by interacting with it, but it does have a few unique controls. For example, the Motorboat is equipped with a mounted missile launcher that deals 35 damage to any player it hits. Players can also activate a boost to quickly gain speed, though it will go into a short cooldown after each use.

Like other vehicles, the Motorboat has fuel that will run out if players don’t refuel it with a fuel tank, and it also has limited health, meaning other players can destroy it — dealing damage to any player still on board. Additionally, the Motorboat is also pretty ineffective on land and is only truly useful when used on water.
