When is the Fortnite Ice Spice Skin Releasing?
Fortnite’s just wrapped up its end-of-season event, which was a bit different to what we expected. It wasn’t quite the lore drop or defeat of Doctor Doom. Instead, an intro for Snoop Dogg and a Fortnite Ice Spice skin!
Dropping into Chapter 2 Remix Prelude, fans found a stage show waiting for them at Restored Reels. Players jumped in to see Fortnite had taken over Times Square! Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice both performed a song or two each. Followed by a trailer for the Fortnite Remix season. A “Remixed” version of Chapter 2, where artists like Snoop Dog and Ice Spice take over the classic Fortnite locales.
Rather than characters like Midas with the Agency, these musicians will be taking over the map. However, the Fortnite Ice Spice skin and POI won’t be here at launch. Players will have to wait a little while first. This is when they can expect it.

Fortnite Ice Spice Skin Coming
The new Fortnite Remix update adds musicians to the Chapter 2 map. However, their Fortnite skins and POIs will be arriving separately. One of the most talked about so far has been the Fortnite Ice Spice skin.
After performing as part of the live event, we’re looking at a new Fortnite skin for the character. They won’t be arriving until Week 3 of Fortnite Remix though. We’ll only see them after the first two weeks conclude.
There are two different looks for the skin lined up. ice spice, the core version of the skin. Then the Rap Princess Ice Spice outfit, an alternative style. They’ll also be on the map.

Ice Spice is taking over the Shark on the old Fortnite Chapter 2 map. Rather than classic characters, the rapper will be taking their place. The POI is getting a bit of a redesign too, as we can see. It probably won’t have a major effect on gameplay, like tournaments or Fortnite betting. However, it will make the game look really quite different from the original Chapter. 2.
