Black Ops 6 holds many collectibles, and the Zombies map Terminus has 30 pieces of Zombie Intel to collect, and here’s how to find them all.
This guide explains how to land Critical Kills in Black Ops 6 Zombies and provides the best setup for tackling this objective. Additionally, it offers pro tips to help you complete this time-consuming challenge as quickly as possible.
How to Get Critical Kills in Black Ops 6 Zombies
In Black Ops 6’s Zombies mode, you can secure Critical Kills by headshotting enemies. When you land a headshot, the hit marker changes to a double-sided icon and glows yellow, indicating that if you kill the target from this angle, it will count as a Critical Kill.
Critical Kills yield more points and apply to all enemy types, including armored zombies and bosses. However, it’s important to note that a Critical Kill is only valid if the kill shot is a headshot. If you shoot a zombie’s head without killing it, it is classified as Critical Damage.
You can activate the S.A.M. Trial objectives to spawn extra zombies each round. Some players also utilize the Jet Gun exploit to generate more low-level zombies for the Critical Kill challenge. (Activating the pressure panel in the Bowling Alley without proceeding with the Easter egg quest spawns more enemies without triggering the next wave.)
Best Setup and Loadout for Getting Critical Kills
If you’re familiar with Zombies mode’s secrets, equip Deadshot Daiquiri to increase your Critical Kills. This perk enhances your ADS precision and boosts Critical Damage, making it easier to score headshots.
For lethal and tactical equipment, avoid explosive gadgets, as they can steal your Critical Kills. Instead, consider a Concussion to slow down zombies or a Stim Shot to replenish HP and Tac Sprint.
You can also equip the Kill Joy GobbleGum for quicker eliminations. This item reduces the number of shots needed to drop enemies, creating the same effect as the Insta-Kill buff.
You can get the Deadshot Daiquiri buff early in the Liberty Falls map by completing an easter egg mission in the cemetery.
Tips for Completing Critical Kill Camo Challenges Faster
Here are some tips to quickly reach 2,000 Critical Kills in Zombies:
Play Solo
To avoid sharing kills, play BO6’s Zombies solo. While it’s more challenging, you’ll have a better chance of landing headshots. If higher levels are difficult, break down the required Critical Kills into several solo games. For example, aim for 200 headshots per match to complete the challenge in five sessions.
Another benefit of playing Zombies solo is the ability to save your progress. At any time, you can select “Save & Quit” from the pause menu, allowing you to return later and continue your headshot grind from where you left off.
Herd the Zombies
Instead of shooting every zombie in sight, rotate the map until all of them spawn. This allows you to herd them in a line for quicker headshots. A pro tip is to lure the group into a narrow space, forcing them to line up for easier targeting.
Exploit the Aim Assist
With the Deadshot Daiquiri Perk-a-Cola, your ADS gains an aim assist. So, when your crosshair is on an enemy’s torso, your aim will automatically lock onto their head. This allows you to spam the ADS button to quickly land Critical Kills without needing to aim precisely.
Prioritize Purchasing Pack-a-Punch
To achieve Critical Kills with specific guns for camo grinding, save your money for Pack-a-Punch upgrades. Upgrade your weapon as quickly as possible to maximize damage and reduce time-to-kill (TTK).
