How to Beat Snoop Dogg

Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix is here, providing players with a nostalgic trip back to Chapter 2, but with a rapper twist. One of the icons found in the Fortnite map is Snoop Dogg himself, and players can enjoy his music, weapons, and company, provided they know exactly how to beat him first.

Snoop Dogg is a hostile boss that can be found within Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Remix map, and those who know where to find him might want to try and get to him first so they can claim him as an ally and take his gun, while also keeping his company.

Where to Find Snoop Dogg in Fortnite

Snoop Dogg is an NPC boss that can be found at The Doggpound in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix. The Doggpound is found in the center of the map, and going here is going to be a dangerous ride, since Snoop Dogg isn’t looking to sign autographs at this time. As soon as players land at the Doggpound, they will have to fight his guards and agents (each with 100 HP). Players also have to fight the D-O-double-G himself, who will have around 600 health with no shields.

While the NPC guards don’t pose much of a threat outside of their overwhelming numbers, players should be careful around Snoop Dogg, since he certainly has a vicious bite. Snoop Dogg will use his Drum Gun against the players, so try to remain at a safe distance when fighting him by utilizing ranged weapons like a Heavy Sniper and an Assault Rifle. Snoop Dogg also likes to throw Stink Bombs, but the best part about this weapon is how it can damage the person who threw it, and it’s more than likely that Snoop’s AI will remain in the Stink Bomb cloud that deals around 5 damage per second.

How to Get Snoop Dogg as an Ally

Once Snoop Dogg is defeated, he will drop his Mythic Drum Gun, an Agency Keycard that will lead players to a secret vault, and he will become an ally for the rest of the game. As an Ally, Snoop Dogg will use his Drum Gun as a weapon, while also throwing Stink Bombs at enemies, and occasionally dropping Shields and Medium Bullets for his new crew. Players can also change Snoop Dogg’s appearance if they do the Snoop’s Walk Traversal Emote, purchased in the Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks.

Snoop Dogg’s Drum Gun is a brilliant Mythic weapon that uses Medium Bullets. Opponents will find themselves fighting over it like dogs to a bone. Snoop Dogg’s Drum Gun plays nearly identically to Midas’ Drum Gun from Chapter 2, complete with the absurdly powerful and controllable recoil and fire rate that makes this weapon a master of golden death.

There’s hardly any recoil, and with 40 bullets in a magazine, it will be easy to kill targets at close range like an SMG could and should. Snoop Dogg’s Drum Gun is lethal in the right hands, but are those hands yours?
