Some other keen-eyed viewers were able to ascertain the woman’s identity as the occupant of the divination portrait located in the Grand Staircase section of Hogwarts Castle. That identity explains why developers would have placed her out of bounds and out of sight, because while the subjects of the portraits in Hogwarts Legacy can move and sometimes talk or make other noises, they’re not supposed to appear as regular people wandering the halls.

In early October, Insider Gaming reported a rumor that the game would be receiving a Definitive Edition that could be released sometime in 2025. If that report is correct, this Definitive Edition could include 10-15 hours of new Hogwarts Legacy content, which according to the rumor, would also be available as a purchasable DLC to those players who already own other versions of the game.
