With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the beloved round-based Zombies mode has returned, a feature many fans have missed and enjoyed in previous COD games. If you’ve played before, you know that Easter Eggs are a core part of the Zombies experience.
We all strive to solve these Easter Eggs for the sense of accomplishment they bring, but many can be complex and challenging, often leading to rewarding payoffs. However, not all Easter Eggs need to be elaborate; sometimes, a simple Whack-A-Mole minigame can be just as enjoyable, offering a refreshing change of pace.
How To Activate The Whack-A-Mole Easter Egg
This is probably the easiest Easter Egg you can complete on the Terminus map, as it only requires a Molotov and some solid Whack-A-Mole skills.
Make sure to equip a Molotov in your starting loadout to make it easier.
If you don’t have access to one, you can craft one at any Crafting Table, but you’ll need some Salvage.
Once you start the Terminus map, open the locked doors and find a boat, which can be located at the docks or the laboratory beneath the island.
After getting the boat, head to the large southern island and look for a large hole in the rock where zombies usually spawn.
Above this hole, you’ll notice what looks like a fishing net hanging. Throw your Molotov to burn it. When that’s done, you’ll see a group of crabs nearby, jumping up and down.
Interact with the crabs to activate the Whack-A-Mole Easter Egg.
You’ll be given a baseball bat and have 30 seconds to hit the crabs popping up from the sand, just like in a classic Whack-A-Mole game.
Don’t worry about zombies; they won’t attack you in those 30 seconds.
Depending on how well you do, you’ll receive various rewards. I hadn’t really played Whack-A-Mole before, so I didn’t do great and ended up with only a bunch of grenades that knocked me down – so do be careful.
