What are the Stalker 2 system requirements? We’re not far away from finally being able to play Stalker 2, and the system requirements suggest that the game is more than accessible for older gaming PCs and laptops.

You won’t need the best graphics card to run Stalker 2, but it will certainly help if you’re aiming for 4K, 60fps performance. Despite having been announced some time ago, the system requirements haven’t changed in the lead-up to release, meaning we’re hopeful of a well-optimized experience come launch day.

Here are the Stalker 2 system requirements:

The Stalker 2 minimum requirements are very much in line with many other modern 3D games if perhaps a touch higher. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card alongside an Intel Core i5-7600K or Ryzen 5 1600X CPU. You’ll also need 8GB of RAM if looking to meet these low-end specs.

As for the Stalker 2 recommended specs, you’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT paired with an Intel Core i7-9700K or Ryzen 7 3700X. The RAM requirement is also doubled here so 16GB is needed.

Investing in one of the best SSDs for gaming is a must in order to account for the Stalker 2 download size, with developer GSC Game World confirming the game requires 150GB and seemingly dismissing any notion of getting the game running on a standard hard drive.

Xbox Series S and X versions of the game will boast ray tracing effects, so it’s more than likely that those with the best graphics cards will be able to enjoy the same visual enhancements. Unfortunately, there’s no word on whether STALKER 2 will support Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR as yet but this could change as we get closer to launch.
