Pokemon TCG Pocket Launches Wonder Pick Event

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket launched its first Wonder Pick Event this morning to players around the world. Pokemon TCG Pocket released on October 30th this year with immediate success as players scrambled to open their first digital booster packs. The game has its own unique set of digital cards exclusive to this version of the popular Pokemon TCG, with a smaller-scale battle system exclusive to the app.

Pokemon TCG Pocket allows users to pull one free booster pack every 12 hours with the ability to purchase additional packs through in-game purchases or using hourglasses earned in game that can reduce the timer. Sometimes, players may pull an ultra-rare god pack in Pokemon TCG Pocket that contains a full pack of coveted ultra-rare cards, including unique immersive 3D illustrations in stunning quality.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket players are frustrated with the state of multiplayer battles, and use social media to voice their dissatisfaction.

Another feature for players to gather cards is Wonder Pick. Wonder Pick gives players the ability to randomly receive a copy of a random card from a pack another player pulled. Today, an event was released for this mode where players can earn special promo cards. These include a unique Chansey and Meowth card with a special mark on them to mark the occasion. From November 1st to November 22nd, players will be able to grab these cards as well as participate in missions where they can obtain event shop tickets by wonder picking.

The missions for the Wonder Pick event are simple: “Collect 1 Chansey card” and “Collect 2 Chansey cards” are the first two, with another two similar missions for Meowth, and another three asking players to Wonder trade three, five, and seven times regardless of the result. Event shop tickets are earned for each mission, which can be exchanged for Event Shop items including a Meowth cover, a Meowth backdrop, and a Pink Desk Frame backdrop. Players can use these items to show off their collections, showcasing one of the immersive cards Pokemon TCG Pocket has to offer.

Pokemon TCG Pocket has many ways to show off Pokemon fans’ favorite cards, as well as using them in battle. The new TCG app has a very unique way of playing the game, with a faster-paced format on a smaller scale from the normal TCG rules.
