Pokemon fan and artist In-ProgressPokemon has shared a myriad of Eevee designs they’ve come up with since 2020, all themed around Halloween. The incredible list of creations includes Impeon, Frankeon, Strawmeon, Goopeon, Reapeon, Voodeon, Mummeon, Swampeon, Cerbeon, Pumpkeon, Vampeon, Howleon, Spookeon, Candeon, and Witcheon. The names and designs of the Pokemon draw from obvious inspirations surrounding Halloween, like mummies, the underworld-dwelling dog Cerberus, pumpkins, candy corn, and more. Each Eeveelution is individualistic, with neat features like Goopeon being semi-transparent with visible bones, and Cerbeon sprouting three heads.

Pokemon Fan Shares Inspiration and Future of Eevee Designs

In-ProgressPokemon has received plenty of praise for their unique Eevee creations, and they don’t plan on stopping here. One fan lamented that while there while Candeon was a Treat-type, the collection of Eevees lacked a Trick-type to go with it. In-ProgressPokemon revealed that they have an idea for a Trick-type, which will likely join the group next year, and that it will have a design inspired by jesters. Some fans thought that these Eeveelutions would be great to see in an actual game with altered typing, like turning Reapeon into a Ghost-type.

Eevee’s evolutionary tree has become stagnant over the last many iterations of the games, with no new forms being added to the line since Sylveon was added in Gen 6 with Pokemon X and Y. It’s surprising to long-time fans of the series, as for a while, at least one new Eeveelution was practically guaranteed per generation of games. Fans are clearly eager for more Eevee in the games, but it remains to be seen if any new ideas make it to a future title. Sadly, a flying-type Eeveelution was seemingly created but scrapped according to a recent Pokemon leak, putting the future of the Pokemon’s evolutionary line in question.
