Seasonal Worlds, Soul System, and Gameplay Changes
The Miraibo GO Abyssal Souls season introduces something called as season worlds that you can access via a temporal rift in the lobby. This will be a core gameplay feature. Here, you encounter new Miras, and achievements, and earn rewards, like rare mastery books and fruits, available only during the season. While existing characters and equipment can’t transfer into these seasonal worlds, you’ll start afresh.
At the heart of the season is a new Soul System that transforms character progression. The Soul System allows you to distribute points for powerful stat bonuses. With this revamp, instead of gaining attribute points with each level, you earn points contributing to a modest health boost. However, do note that your unspent Soul points are lost upon defeat.
The season’s storyline brings an ancient threat to Miraibo, with the legendary Mira known as the Annihilator leading a dark invasion. This ancient creature and its minions have emerged from the depths and have invaded the world. The battles will be tougher, requiring you to prepare and strategize against the legendary Mira.
A Seasonal PvP Island: Abyssal Soulss Arena
In addition to new PvE challenges, the season introduces an Abyssal Soulss PvP Arena. A mysterious island has surfaced, rumored to be brought forth by the Annihilator itself. This island has treasures hidden across its dark landscape. Since it’s a free-for-all PvP zone, you’ll face other players and NPC poachers, both of whom are after the rewards scattered across the island.
Using a new teleport point, you can access this island and join battles to earn Spectral Shards, currency unique to the season, exchangeable for special items and rewards. As night falls on the island, dark powers surge at its corners, activating puzzles and treasure hunts. On this island, PvP battles are free-for-all, as defeated players drop Soul points that others can collect.
Four new Miras introduced
The Abyssal Souls season unveils four new Miras. The description is as follows.
- Scaraber: Renowned for its elegance and manners, always maintaining a dignified demeanor. With a calm personality, it is brimming with insight and wisdom, able to coexist harmoniously with other Miras and always fairly resolve disputes.
- Voidhowl: Its very existence is an ill omen, and its appearance often coincides with disasters and misfortune, leading to widespread loathing and fear. However, it appears as a preemptive warning because it senses disasters before they occur.
- Darkraven: Born on the darkest night, the Darkraven carries the shadow energy of the night. Its calls are as ethereal and mysterious as the netherworld, luring the lost towards the unknown abyss.
- Annihilator: Legends say the Annihilator emerges from the deepest abyss, embodying a dark power. It feeds on the fear the other beings feel, and its arrival often foretells an unspeakable disaster and destruction.
Limited-Time Features and Rewards
In addition to the features coming, Abyssal Souls season introduces several exclusive items and rewards. You can look forward to season-exclusive headwear and Halloween costumes to bring a festive touch to your characters. Additionally, the season includes Magic Withered Trees and Magic Candy Pills, unique assets tied to the season, providing buffs or abilities that help you survive in the Abyssal Souls environments.
