Is Dragon Age: The Veilguard on Game Pass?
One of the biggest games of the year is finally here in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Bioware’s first foray into this franchise in about a decade has been one of the most highly anticipated games of 2024. For months, players have waited for any information. Eventually, a release date of Oct. 31 was confirmed. Now, it’s important to see all the options for playing, like Game Pass. This subscription service has tons of EA games and is a much cheaper way to play new titles. Does it have the latest Dragon Age?

Does Game Pass Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
Unfortunately, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is not on Game Pass right now. Some big titles get on the service when they launch. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 landed on the service day one. Sadly, this is not the case for The Veilguard. There are also no plans to put the game on there right now. However, given the strong relationship between Microsoft and EA, it wouldn’t be a surprise to eventually see it available to stream.
Is it on EA Play Pro?
While Game Pass is no help to prospective Dragon Age players, there is another option. EA Play Pro has the game and has since it officially launched on October 31. This is EA’s own streaming service, so their titles get put on it. EA Play Pro is about the same price as Game Pass at $16.99 a month, so it is again a much cheaper option than paying the $70 to buy it on the Xbox Store or somewhere else.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date, is Oct. 31 and you can purchase it digitally or physically. If you don’t care about owning it, then EA Play Pro, but not Game Pass, is an option. Early reviews suggest this could be a true Game of the Year contender, so fans of the franchise or the RPG genre may want to check it out soon. Especially when this is shaping up to be one of the best RPGs of the year.
