Here is how you can get the Twitch Drop for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, round-based gameplay has finally returned, bringing back the classic mode we all loved. As expected with a new CoD game, there’s also a fresh addition: Augments, a feature designed to help you survive in higher rounds.
Once you reach level 11, you’ll unlock access to the Augments menu in Zombies.
Augments, Explained
Augments in Black Ops 6 are additional abilities and buffs that you can equip to customize your Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades.
However, before equipping an Augment, you need to research it. You can do this from the Augments menu, where you’ll find the “Research Augments” option.
In this menu, you’ll likely notice that most Augments are locked. This is because you’ll need to research more Augments to unlock them. Wondering how? It’s simple but may take some time.
Once you activate a Research, such as Stamin-Up, you’ll see a progress meter with six Augments available for unlocking, divided into two categories: Major and Minor. As expected, Major Augments have stronger effects than Minor ones.
So, how do you actually get these Augments that you see? It’s simple: activate the research you want, starting with Stamin-Up Research, as it’s the first one available, and play Zombies matches. The Augments progress is XP-based and increases through rounds, kills, and completed S.A.M. trials.
The longer you play, the more Augments you’ll likely unlock.
After you play some matches and head back to the Research Augments menu, you might now see new options available that you can research in the three categories: Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades.
Now that you have Augments unlocked, it’s time to equip them in the “Equip Augments” menu. In this menu, you can equip one Major and one Minor Augment, so choose carefully based on your playstyle.
While each is useful in its own way, consider the Perk-a-Colas, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades you rely on most and prioritize researching Augments for those, as they’ll enhance your gameplay.
We’ve observed that you’ll earn extra XP if you’re actively using the Augment currently being researched. For instance, if Stamin-Up research is active and you obtain that perk, you’ll gain additional XP.
