EA FC 25 Premier League POTM – August nominees & how to vote

Cole Palmer in EA FC 25

Although EA FC 25 doesn’t launch until September 20 in early access, the first batch of Premier League Player of the Month nominees have been revealed and you can help decide the winner.

Ultimate Team is set to be full of special cards once again this season, as promos like Road to the Knockouts have already leaked ahead of time. And with the Premier League season underway once again, you can help decide each month’s best player – with the winner getting a unique in-game SBC.

Here are all the August nominees for the EA FC 25 Premier League POTM, along with how to vote.

FC 25 Premier League POTM nominees for August

  • Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
  • Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford)
  • Amadou Onana (Aston Villa)
  • Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
  • David Raya (Arsenal)
  • Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
  • Danny Welbeck (Brighton)

Erling Haaland headlines the August POTM nominees after the prolific Norwegian bagged seven goals in just three games to fire Manchester City straight to the top of the league. Behind them on goal difference is Liverpool, and their star man Mo Salah also gets a nod after being involved in six of their seven goals this season.

Elsewhere, Brighton’s Danny Welbeck is also included after he helped the Seagulls climb to third place with two goals in his first two games.

How to vote for EA FC Premier League POTM

  1. Head to the official EA Sports Player of the Month website.
  2. Select ‘View nominees’ under the Premier League logo.
  3. Hover over the player you want to vote for.
  4. Click ‘Vote now.’
  5. Keep an eye on the Premier League and EA Sports social channels for the winner to be announced.

Once all of the votes have been counted, EA Sports will announce the winner on their official channels. This player will then receive a special POTM card SBC in EA FC 25 with upgraded stats, which fans can earn by completing a Squad Building Challenge.

However, it’s worth keeping in mind that EA haven’t officially confirmed whether the August winner will receive an SBC, as the game doesn’t launch until the end of September.

In EA FC 24, Spurs’ James Maddison scooped the August award and received an SBC that went live almost as soon as the Ultimate Team servers went live. However, in years before that, the first Premier League POTM card wasn’t released until the September winner was announced.

Only time will tell what approach the devs take this time around, but you can still cast your vote and help decide the outcome either way.

In the meantime, take a look at the best players in EA FC 25 and how you can still earn rewards through the Pre-Season promo in FC 24.
