Dragon Age The Veilguard Lighthouse statue puzzle solution and rewards

How do you solve the Lighthouse statue puzzle? Early in the Veilguard campaign, you find yourself in the Lighthouse: a base of sorts, previously occupied by your mortal enemy. It now acts as a home for you and yours, and apart from being a place to take a nap and work on your gear, it also houses many secrets, with the statue puzzle being the key to unlocking one of them.

In Dragon Age The Veilguard, you’ll want to find every scrap of loot you can to make yourself, and your Dragon Age The Veilguard companions as powerful as possible. After all, the best Dragon Age The Veilguard weapons aren’t free, you know. The Lighthouse statue puzzle is one you can complete early on, and here’s how.

Dragon Age Veilguard Lighthouse puzzle: a mysterious inscription.

Dragon Age The Veilguard Lighthouse statue puzzle solution

As soon as you have access to the Lighthouse, you’re able to complete this puzzle, and while the initial inscription is a head-scratcher, the actual puzzle involves little more than a bit of running around.

In the main room, you’ll find a sealed door with three inactive crystals surrounding it. The inscription next to said door reads:

“Three meetings, face-to-face, under the sky.”

To unseal the door, you must find three pairs of statues and turn them until they’re facing each other.

  • Three meetings – three pairs.
  • Face-to-face – facing each other.
  • Under the sky – they’re all outside.

Lighthouse statue puzzle pair one

The first pair is located above the entrance to the Lighthouse. Walk up the staircase to the left of the entrance and turn right. You’ll see two statues, each with a wooden shaft. Interact with the shaft to turn the statues until they’re facing each other. Once the statues are in place, they will lock in and you can move on to pairing number two.

The second pair involves a bit more legwork. The first of the pair is situated behind the building on your left as you leave the main Lighthouse building. Work your way around and turn it to face the other statue you can see in the distance.

Once the first statue is in place, work your way around to the next building alone and turn this statue to face the first one. Both will lock into place and you can make your way to the third pair.

The third pair are the furthest apart: one is at the top of the staircase outside the main Lighthouse building, and the other is on the opposite side of the area, on the right side of the dining room. There’s always a clear sight line between statues, so once you’ve found one, you should be able to see the other clearly – use our images for reference if you’re struggling.

Once all three pairs are having their meetings face-to-face, Rook will comment that all their work has done something. Once you hear this line, head back into the main building, and to the sealed food in the large room.

Walk down the corridor and you’ll be greeted with a rather quaint music room, complete with piano and a triangular lute. There are various chests to open in this room, all awarding a small amount of crafting resources, as well as a new codex entry.

There is another sealed doorway in this room, and if you walk near it, you’ll begin to hear strange noises. This is for a later day.
