What Is Combat Specialty In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6?
Combat Specialty is a new bonus feature that gives you a buff if you choose your Perks in a specific way. Think of it like a big boost to your selected Perks. But, there’s a trick to unlocking it.
In Black Ops 6, you will see that each Perk in the three slots has a color. They’re either Red, Blue, or Green. If you manage to equip three Perks of the same color, you’ll be able to activate the Combat Specialty for them, which will make your Perks even stronger.
Currently, there are 3 Combat Specialties you can choose from:
- Enforcer
- Recon
- Strategist
The Enforcer (All Red Perks)
The Enforcer Combat Specialty leans more toward the combat side of things. When you are using Enforcer, each time you kill an enemy, you get a short boost to your speed, and your health regeneration is faster. It activates when all your selected Perks are red. For BO6 players who want a lot of action, the Enforcer is the way to go.
The following perks are tied to this Combat Specialty:
- Bruiser
- Dexterity
- Gung-Ho
- Assassin
- Bank Roll
- Scavenger
- Double Time
Recon (All Blue Perks)
By using all blue perks, you can activate Recon. This specialty helps you and your team see more of what the enemy is up to.
Here’s how it works: After you respawn, you will be able to see enemies through walls for a few seconds, which means you’re less likely to get surprised by campers. You also get a warning on your screen if an enemy is aiming at you from somewhere you can’t see, and when you kill enemies, no death skull shows up on the map.
The following perks are tied to this Combat Specialty:
- Ninja
- Ghost
- Tracker
- Engineer
- Vigilance
- Forward Intel
- Cold-Blooded
The Strategist (All Green Perks)
When all the perks you equip in the game are green, you will be able to activate the Strategist Combat Specialty. It not only helps players locate enemy equipment through walls but also grants a bonus for destroying them. Furthermore, BO6 players with the Strategist will be able to deploy field upgrades and equipment a lot faster.
The following perks are tied to the Strategist:
- Guardian
- Tac Mask
- Gearhead
- Dispatcher
- Fast Hands
- Flak Jacket
- Quartermaster
