Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Regrets Of The Dread Wolf Guide
How to convince Mythal without fighting
Morrigan will remove the seals of a nearby path, one that leads to a large snowy area. At the end of this path, you’ll find a fragment of Mythal’s spirit. You’re given the opportunity to convince Mythal to give you her power. Here are the correct answers in your conversation with Mythal in Dragon Age: The Veilguard:
- “I want your help.”
- “We must stop the blight.” -> “You stood against it.”
- “We must stop the gods.” -> “They wronged you.”
- “We are worthy.” -> “Building a safe place.”
Choosing the above responses causes Mythal to find you worthy. She’ll then give you a unique weapon: Mythal’s Light. This weapon is integral for the game’s finale and it also has the following effects:
- Physical damage: 0
- Stagger: 450
- Deals +80 fire, necrotic, electricity, and cold damage
Basically, you won’t do any physical damage to targets. However, you’ll still hit them with elemental effects, barring resistances. As an aside, if you explore the arena, you’ll see a path that leads to a treasure chest. It contains a unique amulet called A Pale Reflection:
- +20% damage against enemies with low health
- Standard/non-boss enemies are always considered to have low health
- Gain +5% ultimate whenever you defeat an enemy
